Peter Anderson is a business leader in management, urban planning and property development having held senior roles across both the private and public sector for over 30 years.

From establishing himself as a valuable strategic partner of the development industry as a consultant, Peter then went on to work for Stockland, Landcom, UrbanGrowth NSW and a NSW Government Minister.

His current role is Executive Director, Communities Plus at NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC). This role involves the leadership, strategic management and planning of a redevelopment program for the NSW social housing portfolio. This $22 billion program has an ambitious agenda to deliver more social housing, more opportunities and support for residents and a better social
housing experience.

Key projects of the Communities Plus program include the redevelopment of major social housing estates at Waterloo, Telopea, Macquarie Park and Riverwood. Over a 10 year period the program
aims to deliver 23,000 new and replacement social housing dwellings in mixed communities
alongside private and affordable housing.

Peter has Bachelor of Commerce in Land Economics and has also completed post graduate studies with the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
