Frediano Iezzi, Managing Director, idearchitecture

Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 1983, Fred Iezzi has developed his architectural expertise through working in a variety of local and international award winning offices before establishing idearchitecture in January 1991. Fred’s work experience culminated in 1990 with a position in the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genova, Italy, where he held the position of Design Architect on the refurbishment of the FIAT car factory in Turin, Italy. In 1986 Fred took up a position as visiting guest lecturer at Lae University of Technology, Papua New Guinea, lecturing in Architectural Design and Building Technology. Fred has also tutored architectural design at the Department of Architecture, University of Queensland. His active approach to ensuring design excellence and optimisation of cost-effective design management underpins all projects undertaken in the Practice. Fred is an Architect registered in Queensland and is an active Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects.
