Profile

David Wooldridge | CEO | Tiny Homes Foundation

After surviving the HSC, David took up a cadetship with Price Waterhouse whilst studying Accounting, Finance and Systems at UNSW. Since then he has held numerous management positions with Unilever Group and IKEA and currently works full time as a director for the Sundell Group.

Whilst he is a CPA and has a Masters of Law, David is most proud of his extensive philanthropic involvement in the NFP sector having consulted to and worked with numerous organisations including World Vision, Mission Australia, Brotherhood of St Lawrence, Surf Aid International, Social Ventures Australia and Fair Business. During his time as CEO for Grameen Foundation Australia he facilitated the continued expansion of micro-credit funding within the Asia-Pacific region.

After many years of hands on street work with the homeless in Sydney he co-founded Tiny Homes Foundation in 2015 as a housing first strategy with a view to being part of a holistic approach to solving homelessness. He is passionate about the potential of using Tiny Homes as a step up on the road to Australia becoming the first nation to effectively provide a place to call home to everyone who needs one.
