This seminar aims to bring together Māori and Indigenous housing practitioners to share and discuss:

  • strategies to providing culturally appropriate and housing and tenancy services for Māori and Indigenous people
  • principles for working with Māori and Indigenous people and communities
  • approaches to addressing the day-to-day challenges faced by housing practitioners in all areas of Māori Indigenous housing and tenancy management

The Seminar is a satellite event of the biennial ‘National Māori Housing Conference 2018’, which will be held on 13-15 November 2018 in Hamilton. We would like to invite members from both sides of the Tasman to attend both events and share experiences and ideas in Māori and Indigenous housing.
